The inception of Sancta Solis began with three women who love oil:

Sarah & Ash Hendriks based in Australia with roots in ceramic & graphic design, alongside Emma Hoareau - a skincare expert & photographer based in London. The three founders practiced oil-massage in various forms, including abhyanga with warm oil and Gua Sha for the face and body. They all recognised the importance of forming a ritual practice, not only to experience the numerous health benefits—such as improved circulation and tension relief—but also to connect with themselves and their minds daily, regardless of how limited their time or space might feel.

Enter SANCTA SOLIS.

Oil massge was a common thread that has helped us move through life transitions, motherhood, and the relationship we have with our bodies. The act of touch & flow has been deeply impactful in reconnecting.

Once we understood the profound impact of these rituals, we knew we wanted to create a space to encourage people to build their own sanctuary, and enjoy that solo moment.

Sancta Solis creates high quality, antioxidant potent oils and balms to deeply nourish and stone tools to create your own body ritual experience at home or in the sauna.
